Introduction

Organizations of all sizes share many of the same challenges in terms of IT risk and compliance. They are facing an ever growing list of industry and government related regulations that, while they all may not apply, will be considered in a positive light if you are meeting them and a negative if you are not.  Whether its Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Health Insurance Portability And Accountability Act (HIPAA), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), or Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), each organization must, at a minimum, meet the capabilities listed below.  The ability to audit your user’s behavior is paramount to your organization’s success at meeting the compliance challenges and managing your risks.

Service Overview

The primary purpose of the Business Intelligence is to provide organizational stakeholders with the knowledge to make informed decisions about the health and security of their application security.   The secondary purpose is to provide an adhoc and scheduled reporting capability for application owners to utilize and to help resolve any internal and external audit reporting requirements.  ISX helps organizations reduce the amount of time and effort application owners, application custodians, and representatives from audit or compliance spend managing these types of requirements.

ISX uses a its proprietary methodology of creating a Business Intelligence Security Service Pattern (BISSP) apart of a larger Security Integration Framework (SIF).  The BISSP will provide organizations reporting access to audit data on an adhoc and scheduled basis.  The BISSP will offer some out-of-the-box reports while other reports provide customized views.  Once an application is “Certified” under the BISSP,  it is able to meet all regulatory reporting obligations.
